Longhorn Publishers PLC invites eligible, qualified, and interested firms to submit applications for prequalification of suppliers for the supply of goods, provision of services, and works for the financial years 2025 to 2028.
We seek to build a trusted network of vendors who can reliably support our operations and mission to transform education through quality publishing and content development.
Prequalification Categories
The prequalification exercise covers the following:
A. Supply of Goods
- IT equipment, software & consumables
- Office stationery & furniture
- Firefighting equipment
- Staff uniforms & safety gear
- Warehouse tools & packing materials
…and more.
B. Provision of Services
- Graphic design, printing & layout
- Travel & logistics
- Repairs & maintenance (IT, motor vehicles, equipment)
- Security & courier services
- Editing, transcription, internet & IT support
…among others.
C. Provision of Works
- Construction & building maintenance
- Plumbing, painting & landscaping
How to Apply
Interested vendors can download the Prequalification Document from this website.
Each application must:
- Be clearly marked with the category number and name.
- Be accompanied by a non-refundable fee of KES 1,000 per category (payable by banker’s cheque to Longhorn Publishers PLC) and obtain an official receipt.
- Be submitted in a sealed envelope addressed to:

All documents must be dropped in the tender box at our head office by 10:00 AM, 1st September 2025.
Important Notes
- Only firms that meet the minimum score of 70 points and above in the evaluation will be pre-qualified.
- Bidders must demonstrate relevant experience, technical capability, and financial stability.
